This picture represents the death of Macarthur. The poem shows how Macarthur died and the third missing china Indian figure means that another person has died and the killer has taken the figurine.
Considered the best mystery novel ever written by many readers, And Then There Were None is the story of 10 strangers, each lured to Indian Island by a mysterious host. Once his guests have arrived, the host accuses each person of murder. Unable to leave the island, the guests begin to share their darkest secrets--until they begin to die.

This picture shows that Macarthur has died and the killer has taken another figure from the table.
This is representitve of how that the deaths all seem to be related to the rhyme. When MacArthur died yet another figure was missing from the table.
